Many peaceful years have passed since the devastating battle of 2075. Meanwhile, in enemy caverns on the other side of the mountains, descendants of the evil Zolokt prepare as well, cloning savage creatures from DNA combinations of animals, insects, and plants. Only time will tell how many of the deadly muclones get released.

The New World: Blue Moon Generation had me hooked from chapter one. I absolutely loved the first book of this series, The New World: A Step Backward, and had my doubts that the author could actually create another set of rich characters and edge of the seat situations, but he did just that! This book was a great surprise and I can't wait till the last book of this series gets in my hands! Who knows...maybe we'll all be lucky and he decides to make this series longer! I would highly recommend this read to anyone who has a love for creative creatures, highly interesting and quirky characters, and nail-biting suspense!BJR

The New World (Blue Moon Generation) by Andy Skrzynski is outstanding! I was captivated by each characters personality. I loved Caru, Proto, and Fox. I developed a personal connection with each individual and loved the compassion that the writer Andy Skrzynski created during the entire book. I am amazed at how well you were able to expand the story. The connection with The New World A Step Back the first book was evident. I can tell you that I did not expect the story’s ending ( so sad and yes I cried. You have so much more to write about and I would love reading the next adventure. At times I thought I knew or guessed at how things would develop, but you were able to keep me off guard. Each chapter grew into an interesting connection between each character personalities and the growth and development of their lives. Thank you for an enjoyable evening of reading. I would tell everyone to read both books!
WOW! This was great! Edge of your seat, heart thumping GREAT! What an ending. I never really thought I would be interested in reading this new SyFy book.This 1st thing I thought of was Star Trek and I am NOT a Star Trek fan. But I thought, what the heck, I'll give it a try. To my SURPRISE, I was hooked from the 1st page. I couldn't stop reading it. Maybe because when you are reading this book, how close is this to the world today! You think as you read along, what more could possible happen? Well let me tell you, ANYTHING is possible! This sequel is every bit as good as the 1st book. I could see these books done as movies and YES, I would watch them. I can't wait for book 3!

Great book
The author has created an intriguing world packed with interesting characters. A fasxt=paced tale of survival amidst monstrous muclones and good old fashioned villainy. Check this one out!
I don't consider myself a post-apocalypse, science fiction reader by any means, but I have really enjoyed reading The New World series and this sequel "Blue Moon Generation". The characters draw one into the story; the plot is interesting and dramatic and action-packed and certainly different from anything else I normally read. So maybe I will be a post-apocalypse, science fiction reader now if the author continues to pump out more sequels. I can't wait for the next New World sequel since this one ended with a question... am totally hooked. Very enjoyable read... especially since I had read the first one also.
